On the morning of November 3, Tashkent ranked third in the list of cities with the dirtiest air in the world, according to the IQAir platform. It should be noted that, starting from Monday, the city officially entered the heating season.
According to the platform’s data, the amount of harmful substances in the atmosphere exceeded the norm by 19 times. Residents of the capital were advised to wear medical masks and to minimize the time spent outdoors as much as possible.
The dirtiest air was recorded in Lahore, Pakistan, while the second place was taken by Delhi, India.
