Uzbekistan-Japan Tourism Flow Increases


Between January and November 2025, Japan welcomed 2,700 Uzbek nationals, marking a 16.2 percent increase compared to the previous year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Most Uzbeks traveled to Japan as tourists, accounting for 2,200 individuals. Additionally, 294 citizens visited relatives, while 137 traveled for educational purposes.

During the same period, approximately 30,000 Japanese nationals visited Uzbekistan, a 41.1 percent increase from the previous year. The majority—27,600 people—came as tourists.

In addition, 1,500 Japanese citizens visited relatives, 784 came for work purposes, and 71 traveled for educational reasons.
