A new system based on the "single window" principle for organizing labor migration services is being developed in Uzbekistan. This was presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 18.
During the meeting, it was noted that despite a decrease in the number of Uzbek citizens working abroad, remittances reached $15.8 billion in the first ten months of 2025. To develop the labor market and simplify services, the following measures have been planned: the "Work Abroad" platform currently offers 25 online services, which have been utilized by over 520,000 citizens.
The platform is set to introduce new capabilities such as biometric identification, artificial intelligence, real-time monitoring of job vacancies, and remote consultation. It is planned to establish a 24-hour service situation center within the Migration Agency.
Additionally, measures to combat illegal migration and fraud will be strengthened, including the installation of information terminals at airports, increasing fines, and considering criminal liability for aiding unauthorized departures. The President approved these proposals and instructed that their implementation be accelerated.
