Liverpool head coach Arne Slot commented on the situation involving Conor Bradley, who was injured after the match against Arsenal. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Slot, he is seriously worried about the defender’s condition: “In Conor Bradley’s case, I fear the worst. If our player stays down on the pitch, then 100 times out of 100 something is wrong. It’s never nice to see someone trying to move a player when there’s a risk of injury,” the coach said.
The incident happened near the touchline in the final minutes of the match. After a collision, Bradley remained on the turf, while Arsenal player Gabriel Martinelli, thinking the Liverpool defender was wasting time, first threw the ball at him and then tried to push him off the field.
Soon it became clear that Bradley’s injury was serious: the player was carried off the pitch on a stretcher.
