In the final matches of Serie A Round 19, Milan hosted Genoa and had to settle for a 1–1 draw. After the game, Rossoneri defender Matteo Gabbia commented on a match that did not go their way. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Gabbia, Milan took the field aiming for victory, but the result left the team disappointed. The defender admitted that he made the mistake that led to the opponent’s goal and noted that because they scored the equaliser too late, they didn’t have enough time to fight for the win until the end.
After this draw, Milan are 3 points behind Inter. In the next round, Massimiliano Allegri’s side will face Fiorentina.
