On Sunday, December 21, Uzbekistan will experience variable weather conditions, with forecasts of rain and snow in many regions, according to Uzhydromet.
Experts have warned that precipitation in some areas may cause icy conditions on road surfaces. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, avoid speeding, and maintain a safe distance. Additionally, there is a chance of dense fog in certain regions.
Daytime temperatures across the country are expected to range from 0°C to +5°C. In the capital, Tashkent, snow is also possible, with temperatures around 0°C to +2°C, accompanied by moderate winds.
In mountainous areas, the situation is more severe. Heavy snowfall could lead to avalanches, with nighttime temperatures potentially dropping to -5°C in these regions.
Experts are calling on the population, especially those traveling in mountainous areas or foothills, to strictly adhere to safety measures. In short, Sunday will serve as a reminder of winter's conditions—dress warmly and prioritize safety.
