According to Uzhydromet, on December 22 the weather across the country will be mostly variable. Snow is expected in some regions, while fog and icy conditions may form on roads in many areas.
In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected, but fog is possible at night and in the early morning hours. Nighttime temperatures will range from minus 3 to minus 5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will be around 0 to plus 4 degrees.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, dry weather will persist, with possible fog and icy roads. In Bukhara and Navoi regions, light snow may occur in some places.
In Samarkand and Jizzakh regions, snowfall is expected in certain areas. In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, precipitation in the form of rain and snow is possible. In the regions of the Fergana Valley, no precipitation is forecast, but fog and icy conditions may cause difficulties for drivers.
In mountainous areas, snowfall is expected from time to time, and the risk of avalanches remains in some locations. Specialists urge caution when traveling on roads.
In short, winter will make itself felt tomorrow: snow in some areas, and fog and icy roads in many regions.
