In Tashkent region, the lighting of the main symbol of the New Year celebrations — a 30-meter-tall central Christmas tree — was switched on. Decorated with more than 28,000 lighting and decorative elements, the tree created a truly festive atmosphere for visitors.
The event was attended by regional governor Zoir Mirzaev, who announced the official start of the New Year festivities. The square was filled with festive music, light shows, and a cheerful mood.
The celebration also featured 100 Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens, delighting children and families. Guests had the opportunity to take photos near the tree and enjoy stage performances and entertainment programs.
According to reports, New Year events at the main Christmas tree square located in the “Nurafshon Business City” complex will be held daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. During the holiday period, concerts, interactive games, and special programs for children will be organized.
In short, the New Year atmosphere has officially begun in Tashkent region — the lights are on, the mood is festive, and the spirit of the holiday has spread across the city.
