December 19: Where is snow expected?

Uzhydromet has announced the nationwide weather forecast for December 19. According to the report, the weather will be variable in most regions, with snow and rain expected in some areas.

In Tashkent, light snow may fall at night and in the morning, and fog is possible. No precipitation is expected during the day, but icy conditions may form on some road sections. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0 to 2 degrees below zero, while daytime temperatures will be around 1–3 degrees above zero.

No precipitation is expected in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, although fog may occur. In the Ustyurt plateau, colder weather is expected, with temperatures dropping to 15–18 degrees below zero in some places.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will remain mostly dry. Cold temperatures are expected at night, while daytime weather will be relatively mild.

In the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions, light snow may fall in some areas during the night and morning. No precipitation is expected during the day.

In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, rain is possible toward the end of the day, which may turn into snow in some areas. In the Fergana Valley regions, rain and snow are expected at night, while daytime weather will remain relatively stable.

In mountainous areas, snow will fall intermittently, icy conditions may occur on roads, and the risk of avalanches remains in some locations.

Meteorologists urge drivers to remain cautious and strictly follow traffic regulations.
