During the first nine months of this year, the population of Uzbekistan earned an average monthly income of 6.2 million soums. According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure has increased by almost 20% compared to last year.
The highest incomes belong to employees working in banks, insurance companies, and the IT sector, with their monthly salaries reaching 15–17 million soums. In Tashkent, the average monthly salary has exceeded 10 million soums, while the fastest income growth has been observed in Samarkand region.
In the fields of education and healthcare, however, monthly salaries are the lowest, at about 4 million soums.
