A four-meter-high golden statue of Binance founder Changpeng Zhao will be exhibited in Washington. Binance platform reported that $50,000 was raised by anonymous supporters to create this monument.
The statue shows Zhao with a raised hand, demonstrating the famous 'Ignore the FUD' gesture. After a short-term exhibition, the statue is planned to be handed over to Zhao himself or sold at auction.
The proceeds from the sale will be directed to Zhao's Giggle Academy charity fund. The Giggle Academy fund was established after Zhao resolved a $4.3 billion settlement with the US government.
The fund’s resources will be used to support educational and social projects. Previously, Kursiv Uzbekistan reported that on October 5, for the first time, the price of Bitcoin exceeded $125,000, setting a new historical record.
