The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced the successful execution of a unique special operation. According to an official statement, a strike was carried out on a Russian submarine stationed at the port of Novorossiysk. This operation is being hailed as a new milestone in the history of Ukraine's special forces.
Reportedly, for the first time in history, the strike was executed using Sub Sea Baby underwater drones, targeting a Russian submarine of the "Varshavyanka" class, listed as project 636.3. The use of such drones is demonstrating new tactical possibilities in military operations.
The exact timing of the incident has not been officially disclosed. According to the Ukrainian authorities, the attacked submarine was stationed specifically within the port of Novorossiysk. Additionally, it is claimed that the vessel was equipped with four launch systems for Kalibr cruise missiles, designed for strikes on Ukrainian territory.
