Uzbekistan U-17 national team defeated Paraguay

On November 5, 2025, at the U-17 World Cup taking place in Qatar, the Uzbekistan national team began their campaign successfully. Under the leadership of Islombek Ismoilov, the team beat Paraguay's youth side with a score of 2:1.

Goals from Azizbek Abdumuminov and Muhammadali Musaxonov secured three important points for our team. The Uzbekistan national team started the match with discipline and precise movements.

In the 25th minute, Azizbek Abdumuminov opened the scoring with a powerful strike from outside the penalty area. This goal was made possible by Abubakir Shukurollayev’s intense pressing, as he won the ball from the opponent and passed it to Abdumuminov.

Until the end of the first half, Ismoilov's players maintained full control of the game. In the 45+2nd minute, a goal from Muhammadali Musaxonov made it 2:0.

This goal was also the result of a skillfully arranged attack. In the second half, the Paraguay team increased the pressure, but goalkeeper Nemat Rustamjonov saved several dangerous shots and kept his goal intact.

In the 87th minute, the referee awarded a penalty to Paraguay with the help of VAR, allowing the opponents to reduce the deficit. Despite intense pressure, the team remained disciplined and finished the match.
