Led by National Olympic Committee chairman Adham Ikromov and NOC vice-president Otabek Umarov, the Uzbekistan delegation has arrived in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh to participate in the opening ceremony of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh-2025. The members of the Uzbekistan delegation were received at the airport by Prince Abdullah Fattah Al-Saud, a member of the Executive Committee of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.
During this warm welcome, the parties warmly congratulated each other and emphasized the importance of participating in such a large-scale sporting event. After the delegation arrived, an official meeting was held between NOC representatives and the leadership of the Islamic Games Organizing Committee.
During the talks, issues of expanding cooperation in the field of sports, developing youth programs, and jointly organizing training camps were discussed.
