Pavel Durov Blames France for Kirk's Killing

Pavel Durov calls France connected to Kirk's killing

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, has expressed support for claims that France might be connected to the killing of Charlie Kirk. This was reported by "Kommersant."

Durov’s comments were made in response to a statement by journalist Candace Owens, which was based on information reportedly obtained from a French official. In a post on his social media platform X, Durov stated: "After analyzing all of Charlie Kirk’s remarks about France and Macron, Candace’s information suggesting French involvement in Kirk’s death seems highly credible to me."

The Telegram founder speculated that Kirk’s calls to impose a 300% tariff on all imported goods from France could have been a motive for the assassination.

Kirk believed that the reversal of such measures was linked to the withdrawal of accusations previously made against Durov. Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10 during a public appearance at a university in Utah.

A 22-year-old suspect, Tyler Robinson, is accused of carrying out the killing.
