At the second stage of the “Asean Track Series” track cycling competition, which started yesterday in Nilai, Malaysia, Uzbekistan’s cyclists delivered impressive results. In today’s races, our national team representatives posted strong performances and won a total of 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
Gold medal — Sergey Rostovsev (omnium) secured the gold medal for the Uzbekistan national team. This success was the result of the athlete’s hard work and skill.
Silver medal — Nafosat Koziyeva claimed the silver medal in the elimination race with a strong performance. The result was achieved thanks to years of preparation and the meticulous work of her coaches.
Bronze medal — In addition, Nafosat Koziyeva also returned with a medal in the scratch race, winning bronze. This medal reflects her efforts and the high level of competition.
For Uzbekistan’s cycling, every medal is important, as our athletes continue to achieve strong results on the international stage.
