Theranos founder's prison sentence reduced
The prison sentence of Theranos startup founder Elizabeth Holmes has been reduced by one year, according to Business Insider. She is now expected to be released by the end of December 2031.

This is not the first time the entrepreneur's sentence has been shortened. Previously, in 2023, her term was also reduced.

Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors. The Theranos company she founded had promised to conduct hundreds of tests using just a single drop of blood.

However, it was revealed that this technology did not work. Moreover, claims that the device had received approval for use by the U.S. military also turned out to be false.
