Warning Against Illegal Crossing into Kazakhstan

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau has reminded that stricter penalties have been introduced in Kazakhstan for illegal border crossings starting from September. This decision was made in response to an increase in cases of Uzbek citizens illegally crossing the Kazakh border.

It was reported that individuals involved in illegal activities were apprehended, and criminal penalties were applied to all of them. "We urge our citizens to strictly adhere to the established procedures for crossing state borders and to refrain from participating in illegal schemes," the statement said.

Diplomats have called on citizens to strictly follow entry and exit rules and to avoid actions that could lead to criminal liability.
