In Russia, foreign nationals who evade mandatory medical examinations may be fined, and a court may decide to deport them from the country. It is also planned to reduce the medical check deadline for migrants arriving for more than three months from 90 days to 30 days. Medical institutions will have to send examination findings to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and information on detected infectious diseases to Rospotrebnadzor.

In addition, it is proposed to toughen penalties for forging medical documents confirming the absence of dangerous diseases and for putting such documents into circulation.
