The initial stage of the large-scale "Qoradori" campaign was held across Uzbekistan on February 3-4 by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As reported, a total of 653 special events were held at this stage to curb the activities of individuals and criminal groups involved in the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and strong drugs.
"During the measures taken, the distribution of more than 112 kg of narcotic drugs (heroin, opium, hashish, synthetic narcotic drugs) and 8,601 pieces of potent drugs among the population was stopped. The amount of $287,460 and 569 million soums received from the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs was registered as evidence," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
In addition, within the framework of 222 criminal cases initiated, 228 individuals were brought to criminal liability. 64 individuals were brought to administrative liability. 47 wanted individuals were detained. Preventive interviews were conducted with 357 individuals, and 231 were officially warned.
In addition, as part of large-scale measures, 175 "blades", 58 "batas", 24 "knives" and 77 weapons were seized by law enforcement agencies.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, urgent measures to stabilize the criminal situation will continue in other areas.
