
On November 12, a third meeting of Central Asian transport ministers was held in Tashkent. The meeting concluded with the signing of the Tashkent Communiqué.
During the event, the draft CATRANS-2035 strategy was discussed. This document is aimed at creating a unified transport space that is modern, environmentally friendly, and integrated with international trade routes.
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport, Ilhom Mahkamov, emphasized that this document outlines the strategic directions for cooperation until 2035. It covers three main areas: infrastructure development, digitalization, and coordination of actions among regional countries.
