Azerbaijan Becomes a Participant in the Central Asia Format

Azerbaijan has become a full-fledged participant in the Central Asia Leaders' Consultative Format. The leaders of Central Asian states approved the decision for Azerbaijan to join this format as a full participant during the seventh Consultative Meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the leaders signed a Joint Statement and approved a number of important documents. Notably, they expressed support for Kyrgyzstan's candidacy to become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2027–2028 term.

Additionally, the states agreed on documents concerning the concept of regional security and stability for the 2026–2028 period, a catalog of key threats and risks, as well as measures to prevent them. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
