Tashkent State University of Law to Relocate to New Tashkent

Tashkent State University of Law will be relocated to New Tashkent
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed a resolution to construct the campus of Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) in New Tashkent. The Ministry of Justice, together with the contractor, has been instructed to select the most suitable project and commence construction.

It is planned to attract preferential financing from international institutions and foreign banks for the implementation of the project. From the 2026/2027 academic year, a dual education system will be introduced at TSUL.

Second, third, and fourth-year students will spend approximately half of their program in classrooms and the other half in practical training at courts, legal agencies, law firms, and other institutions. The university will also expand its collaboration with foreign partners.

Centers for European Law, WTO Law, English Law, and other legal organizations will be established at TSUL. These centers will work in cooperation with universities in Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and China.

Students will have the opportunity to undertake internships and practical training at international companies and dispute resolution centers. Starting next year, TSUL faculty members will participate in exchange and internship programs at leading universities around the world.
