Guardiola gave a clear answer about Haaland's workload

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola responded sharply and openly at a press conference to a question about Erling Haaland spending too much time on the field. Pep believes there's no great benefit in repeatedly discussing this topic - as the current reality of football puts all teams under the same pressure.
- Why are we discussing these topics again? "Nothing will change," said Guardiola.
He cited City's match against Budø-Glimt as an example: 11 players were absent from the squad in that match. Pep also emphasized that this isn't exclusive to Manchester United. He said injuries have also increased at clubs like Aston Villa and Tottenham, as the schedule is too tight.
Guardiola said that the increased workload in today's football is natural and pointed out that Haaland is a player who meets such a pace:
- Teams are holding many matches. "Holand has the physical capabilities and he can handle this load," he said.
Currently, Manchester City sits in second place in the English Premier League. The Citizens are 7 points behind leaders Arsenal. So, for Pep, the biggest "drama" right now is not how much Haaland plays, but the value of every point in the championship race.
