In the city of Tashkent, a robbery committed against a minor teenager has caused a major public outcry. According to the press service of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, two individuals who committed this crime were detained within a short period of time.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the riverside area behind the “Qo‘yliq” clothing market. Information was received by law enforcement agencies that force had been used against a minor teenager named Otabek and a robbery had been committed.
During оперативно-search operations, the suspects were identified and detained in the Bektemir district. One of them is a resident of the Tashkent region named Anvar, while the other is Bahrom, a previously convicted individual from the Andijan region.
According to one of the suspects, on the day of the incident they were heading toward the market. At that moment, they distracted the teenager they encountered by chance, after which he was struck. “I deeply regret what I did,” he stated.
At present, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and by court decision, detention has been chosen as a preventive measure.
It is worth noting that in recent times, strict measures have been taken in various regions of the country against organized groups inclined to violence. Law enforcement agencies emphasize their uncompromising stance toward such crimes.
