Fifty-two environmentally friendly buses, compliant with Euro-5 standards and powered by compressed natural gas, were delivered to the city of Guliston. This information was reported by the Press Service of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the President's visit to the Syrdarya region, he inspected the new vehicles. Each bus is designed to carry more than 60 passengers and is equipped with the ATTO payment system.
According to the report, seven new bus routes implemented under gross contracts in Guliston cover 23 neighborhoods. As a result, 29,000 residents have started using public transport services.
It is planned to purchase 30 additional long-distance buses for public transport in Guliston in the future. This initiative is expected to create employment for more than 100 people.
