President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced during the Peace and Trust Forum held in Ashgabat that 2027 is planned to be declared the Year of Preventive Diplomacy.
As part of this initiative, it is planned to organize international conferences, forums, and delegation exchanges with the participation of United Nations structures, including the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Ashgabat.
President Mirziyoyev emphasized his support for Turkmenistan's initiative to declare 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. According to him, this idea holds significant importance for countries aiming to resolve conflicts through negotiations.
Additionally, the President proposed organizing an international humanitarian forum titled "Dialogue of Cultures" in Tashkent in 2026, as well as launching the program "Youth for Peace and Trust."
