
The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on the Fergana chemical plant. The enterprise was added to the sanctions list on December 18.
Measures against the company include the freezing of assets and prohibition of trust services. According to the British government, the plant has supplied goods or technologies that could potentially be used in activities threatening Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Additionally, sanctions have also been applied to other companies registered in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, Rustam Muminov, who was born in Tashkent and holds citizenship in Uzbekistan, Israel, and Russia, has also been sanctioned. According to British information, he may have been involved in providing financial services or resources that pose a threat to Ukraine's stability.
Overall, as part of an update to its sanctions regime, the United Kingdom has added 24 new individuals and entities to the list. All listed parties are subject to asset freezes and additional financial restrictions.
