In the city of Samarkand, a case of an attempt to illegally sell a land plot has been uncovered. This was announced by the State Security Service.
It became known that a man born in 1993, in collusion with a citizen born in 1983 living in Samarkand district, was planning to sell to his wife a 2-hectare land plot allocated for the construction of a greenhouse.
The suspect offered to sell this land to buyers for 490 thousand US dollars, claiming that he would formalise all the documents through his official acquaintances. At the same time, he demanded 50 thousand dollars in advance for the deal.
In an operational action carried out jointly by law enforcement agencies — the State Security Service, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, and the internal affairs bodies — this individual was apprehended together with material evidence at the moment of receiving the money.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened on this fact, and investigative procedures are ongoing. Specialists emphasise that the allocation and sale of land plots must be carried out only within the framework of legislation.
In particular, such processes must be conducted openly and transparently only through the E-AUKSION electronic trading platform.
In short, an attempt at easy earnings has ended in yet another crime. Any attempt to bypass the law is sooner or later uncovered — and the consequences turn out to be heavy.
