$490,000 land fraud scheme involving 2 hectares exposed in Samarkand

An attempt to illegally sell a plot of land has been exposed in the city of Samarkand.
According to reports, an individual born in 1993, acting in collusion with another citizen, promised to sell a 2-hectare plot of land to a buyer for 490,000 US dollars.
The individuals demanded an upfront payment of 50,000 US dollars, claiming they could formalize the land documents through influential acquaintances in official positions.
During a rapid operation conducted by the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other agencies, the suspect was apprehended with material evidence while receiving the 50,000 US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated against the two individuals, and investigative proceedings are currently underway.
Experts remind citizens that the sale and allocation of land plots are carried out legally only through the "E-AUKSION" electronic platform.
