Cameras identify 192 drivers without licenses in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, video surveillance cameras have recorded 192 instances of individuals operating vehicles without the right to drive or while being deprived of such a right. Appropriate measures are being taken regarding these violations identified through specialized technical means. Uzdaily.uz reports on this.
By region, the highest number of violations was observed in the Xorazm region, where 60 cases were registered. Additionally, 40 drivers in the city of Toshkent were found to be behind the wheel without the necessary documents. This data was confirmed through cameras installed to ensure road safety.
According to official data, in 32 cases, violators were fined 50 times the base calculating amount, totaling 20,600,000 soums. In another 31 cases, drivers were fined 5 times the BCA, amounting to 2,060,000 soums. Currently, surveillance cameras allow for the remote detection of the absence of a driver's license.
