Cameras identify 192 drivers without licenses in Uzbekistan
Surveillance cameras in Uzbekistan have identified 192 instances of individuals driving without a valid license or while being disqualified from operating a vehicle. The Khorezm region recorded the highest number of violations with 60 cases, followed by the capital city of Tashkent with 40 incidents. Authorities have already imposed significant penalties, including fines of up to 20.6 million soums for those found in serious breach of traffic regulations. This enforcement highlights the enhanced capabilities of the country's monitoring systems, which can now remotely verify a driver's licensing status to improve road safety.

By region, the highest number of violations was observed in the Xorazm region, where 60 cases were registered. Additionally, 40 drivers in the city of Toshkent were found to be behind the wheel without the necessary documents. This data was confirmed through cameras installed to ensure road safety.
According to official data, in 32 cases, violators were fined 50 times the base calculating amount, totaling 20,600,000 soums. In another 31 cases, drivers were fined 5 times the BCA, amounting to 2,060,000 soums. Currently, surveillance cameras allow for the remote detection of the absence of a driver's license.
