Leadership change at Apple will strengthen focus on gadget production

An important change has occurred in the leadership of Apple. Tim Cook, who has led the corporation for many years, will be replaced by John Ternus, an experienced specialist in hardware. Techcrunch.com reports.
This appointment will determine the direction of the company's development in the coming years.
Ternus has been working in the Apple team since 2001. During his career, he has been directly involved in the creation of such popular products as AirPods, Apple Watch and Vision Pro.
Under his leadership, the company is expected to once again focus its main attention on technical devices.
Within the new strategy, AI capabilities will be directly integrated into the gadgets themselves. According to specialists, Ternus will speed up projects on smart glasses, wearable devices with cameras and robotics.
The long-awaited iPhone models with a foldable screen may also be presented in September of this year.
At the same time, it is clear that the new leader will face a number of difficulties. The new US customs policy and dependence on production in China are creating risks for the company.
Currently, Apple is moving part of its production capacities to India, seeking to reduce the risks.
