Uzbekistan's weightlifters continue to successfully participate in the Islamic Solidarity Games currently being held in Riyadh. Diyorbek Ruzmetov and Nigora Abdullayeva secured silver medals, adding new achievements to the national team’s tally.
In the 71 kg weight category, Diyorbek Ruzmetov secured a spot among the competition leaders. He lifted 148 kg, claiming second place and earning a silver medal.
Our athlete’s performances were recognized for their consistency and the precision of each approach. Meanwhile, Nigora Abdullayeva lifted 96 kg in the snatch, earning a silver medal.
Additionally, she lifted 118 kg in the clean and jerk, and achieved a total of 214 kg in the combined result, securing second place in both categories. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
