He stressed that the Premier League is becoming increasingly difficult and added that the most important thing is to stay near the top. Guardiola said that today’s result—win or loss—will not decide the season, as there are still many matches ahead.
The Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City match on 27 December ended with a 2–1 win for Guardiola’s side. City are top of the Premier League table, but second-placed Arsenal have a game in hand.
