Forward Cristiano Ronaldo is planning to leave Al Nassr in the summer of 2027, when his current contract with the club expires. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Saudi Arabia is considering an alternative way to keep the Portuguese star in the country: Ronaldo could increase his current stake in Al Nassr as one of the club’s owners to as much as 15%. League officials are also exploring various scenarios to prevent a sharp drop in international interest should Ronaldo leave.
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2023 as a free agent. This season, he has played 20 matches for the Saudi club, scoring 17 goals and providing 3 assists.
