Legendary Real Madrid midfielder Guti Hernandez has advised club president Florentino Perez not to bring Jose Mourinho back to the team. The club’s leadership is currently searching for a suitable candidate to replace Alvaro Arbeloa. This was reported by Goal.com report.
According to reports, the Portuguese coach is highly interested in returning to Madrid. However, Guti said Mourinho’s results in recent years and his coaching style do not meet the team’s current needs.
In Guti Hernandez’s view, the coach known as “The Special One” is already past the peak of his career. The former player urged the club’s leadership to focus on more modern and promising coaches.
Jose Mourinho is currently at the center of rumors linking him with Portuguese club Benfica. Meanwhile, Madrid are considering all options before making a final decision on the specialist who will replace Arbeloa.
