Iran sends a new proposal to the United States on negotiations

Iran has submitted a new diplomatic proposal to the United States, suggesting a temporary delay in nuclear negotiations to focus on immediate regional security issues. Tehran is reportedly seeking to prioritize the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and a cessation of military hostilities over U.S. demands regarding the removal and production of enriched uranium. While the proposal aims to establish a long-term ceasefire, analysts suggest such a shift could significantly diminish Washington's primary leverage in future negotiations.
According to information based on sources, Iran has sent a new diplomatic proposal to the United States.
Under it, Tehran is proposing to temporarily delay the next stage of nuclear negotiations and focus attention on other issues.
In particular, the Iranian side considers the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the cessation of military operations to be priorities.
It was reported that Tehran has asked for the U.S. demands to remove enriched uranium and suspend its production for 10 years to be put aside for now.
The aim is to reach a long-term ceasefire regime between the sides.
Axios noted that such a scenario could reduce the main pressure tools available to the U.S. administration.
