The last month of the winter season - February - will be warmer than January by an average of 2-2.5 degrees, and in the mountains by 1-1.5 degrees. This was reported by Uzhydromet in its weather forecast for February.

It is noted that this year February will begin with dry weather that will last for 6-7 days.

At the beginning of this period, the air temperature will be around 0-5 degrees Celsius at night, and 3-8 degrees Celsius during the day. By February 6-7, it will be relatively warm, the air will warm up to 12-15 degrees during the day, and 5-8 degrees in the north.

Then, until the end of the month, the temperature is expected to change from 2-7 degrees warm to 3-8 degrees cold at night, from 10-15 degrees warm to 0-5 degrees warm during the day, from 2 degrees cold-3 degrees warm to 8-13 degrees cold at night in the north, from 5-10 degrees warm to 0-5 degrees cold during the day.

At the end of the first ten days, there will be precipitation in the form of rain on the territory of the republic. In the second and third ten days, precipitation (rain, snow) is expected for 2-3 days every ten days.

According to Uzhydromet, February 2004, 2016 and 2021 were the warmest months, with average monthly temperatures 3-6 degrees above the climatic norm. In the warmest periods of these years, the air temperature rose to 22-27 degrees Celsius, and in the south to 28-30 degrees Celsius.

Also, the coldest weather was observed in February 2008, 2012 and 2014, with average monthly temperatures 4-8 degrees below the norm. In most parts of the republic, the minimum air temperature decreased to 12-17 degrees Celsius, and in the north to 24-29 degrees Celsius.
