This week, Uzbekistan will be tested with even more intense heat than expected. According to "Uzhydromet" data, very high air temperatures may be observed throughout the country from July 2 to July 5.
Experts note that during these days, due to hot air flows coming from the south, thermometer readings will rise sharply and will be significantly higher than usual.
On July 2, first of all, in the northern, southern, and desert regions of the republic, the air will heat up to 40–43 degrees. In the following days, from July 3 to 5, intense heat will persist in almost all regions of the country. In the southern and desert areas, in some places, it may reach 44–46 degrees.
Another important factor is the strengthening of the wind. On July 3–5, in some areas, wind speeds may reach 20–25 meters per second. This increases the likelihood of dust and sandstorms. Especially in open areas and desert zones, such conditions are expected to occur frequently.
In such weather conditions, the population is advised to protect themselves from direct sunlight, consume more fluids, and avoid being outdoors during the hottest hours of the day. Elderly people, children, and citizens with cardiovascular diseases should be particularly cautious.
For now, the sharp change in weather is expected to last for several days. Therefore, experts emphasize the need to be prepared for changing climate conditions and to take necessary precautions. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
