Musiala out for 4–5 months due to injury

Bayern will be without key player Jamal Musiala for an extended period, reported Euro-football.ru.

He suffered a serious injury during the Club World Cup quarter-final against PSG. Near the end of the first half, the midfielder collided with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and was taken off the pitch.

It was immediately confirmed that he had broken his leg. According to Bild, Musiala sustained a fracture of the fibula and damage to several ligaments.

The 22-year-old is expected to be out for four to five months. Bayern was eliminated from the tournament after conceding two goals in the second half.

In February, Jamal Musiala extended his contract with the Munich club until 2030. The team now awaits his recovery and return to action.
