The hottest week of July is about to begin

The hottest week of July is about to begin
Starting from July 2, the weather in Uzbekistan will heat up to an abnormal degree, and in some regions, record high temperatures are expected.
According to the Republican Hydrometeorological Service Center of Uzbekistan — Uzhydromet — from July 2, very hot air masses will begin to enter our country from the south. These air masses, moving from Turkmenistan and Iran, will cause a significant rise in temperatures across Uzbekistan.

According to forecasts, on July 2 and 3, a sharp rise in temperature is expected in the northern regions of the country — in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region. Also, in desert areas — around Navoi and Bukhara — the highest temperatures are expected on July 3 and 4.

The sharp temperature increase will be especially noticeable from July 4 onward in the central and southern regions of the country. In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya, and Andijan regions, it is recommended to closely monitor the weather on July 4 and 5 to avoid health risks. In some areas, the temperature may reach 44–46 degrees.

Experts are calling this “the hottest week of summer.” Especially in desert regions, where the air is dry and still, it creates harsh conditions for the human body. This situation requires people to be cautious and take care of their health.

How high will the temperature rise?
July 2–3 — in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm: 41–43°C
July 3–4 — in Navoi and Bukhara: 44–46°C
July 4–5 — in central and southern regions: 42–44°C
Some desert areas — up to 46°C

Such high temperatures can seriously affect human health. Doctors and experts recommend staying out of the sun, seeking shade, drinking more water, and limiting physical activity during hot days.

Take note:
Avoid staying outdoors during peak heat (from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Do not stay under the sun for too long, wear hats and sunglasses
Drink at least 2–3 liters of water per day
Pregnant women, children, and the elderly need special precautions
Impact on agriculture and power supply

Experts note that high temperatures can also be dangerous for agriculture. Especially in areas with insufficient irrigation, crops may suffer. In addition, the sharp increase in the use of fans and air conditioners causes a surge in electricity demand. Power supply organizations are working in emergency mode to ensure uninterrupted energy supply to the population.

Special warning from Uzhydromet
Uzhydromet representatives recommend that citizens follow weather updates regularly during this heatwave, take precautionary measures, and, if possible, postpone trips and heavy physical labor during the hottest days.

Since the temperature is 7–10 degrees above normal, this is considered an unnatural, anomalous weather phenomenon.

In conclusion:
July, especially its first week, may become a serious test for Uzbekistan. This week will not only be hot, but also a period that demands careful attention to personal health. Everyone is urged to follow safety recommendations, take protective measures, and alert each other.
