Is July heat easing? Too early to tell, but changes are coming
In Uzbekistan, over the holiday weekend from July 5–7, there will be slight shifts in the weather. This was reported by the “Uzgidromet” center.

On Friday, very hot weather will persist across most of the republic. Since yesterday, daytime temperatures rose to +39…+41 °C, and in desert and southern regions up to +43…+45 °C. On July 4, the readings reached +41…+43 °C, with some areas hitting +46 °C.

Only in the northwest regions is the heat somewhat weaker — around +34…+39 °C. On Sunday, the general temperature background remains high: +38…+41 °C, and in desert and southern areas — up to +44 °C.

During these days, wind may also cause discomfort: speeds of 13–18 m/s, and locally up to 20–22 m/s, with possible dust storms. The wind is expected to intensify particularly on July 6 in desert regions.

In the capital, Tashkent, the weather will be relatively stable. Clear skies and no precipitation are expected. On July 4–5, temperature will reach +40…+43 °C, and on July 6 — slightly cooler at +39…+41 °C.

Therefore, while the heat appears to be gradually easing, it's not very noticeable yet. Consequently, it is recommended for the public to stay in the shade, drink plenty of water, and protect themselves from direct sunlight.
