Mbappe scores first goal under Alonso at Real

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe scored in the Club World Cup quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund, reported Euro-football.ru.

Mbappe did not start the game but came on in the 67th minute. At that time, the score was 2–0 in Real’s favor.

In stoppage time, Dortmund managed to score, but Mbappe immediately restored the two-goal lead. It was his first goal under manager Xabi Alonso and also his first in this year’s Club World Cup.

According to available data, Mbappe has scored 44 goals in 58 matches for Real across all competitions.

Dortmund scored once more in the final moments, but Real secured a 3–2 victory.
