
Tashkent authorities are planning to name one of the city's streets after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. This was discussed during a meeting between Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov and Turkey's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Olgan Bekar.
During the discussion, the parties talked about expanding Turkish schools in Uzbekistan and naming a street in Tashkent after Turkey’s first president. Additionally, there are plans to build a Turkish garden in the city.
