Uzbekistan’s Population Reaches 38 Million

According to the latest data announced by the National Statistics Committee, as of August 28, 2025, at 9:35, the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 38,000,000 people. This number not only reflects the population potential of our country but is also an important indicator for social and economic development.

Calculations show that there is a small difference in the number of men and women. In particular:

  • Number of men – 19,136,800 people

  • Number of women – 18,863,200 people

Thus, there are 273,600 more men than women, which reflects the balance of the population composition and the demographic state of the population.
