600 kg of meat brought to the capital from Kashkadarya confiscated

An attempt to illegally bring a large batch of unfit meat to the capital has been uncovered. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 600 kilograms of meat products transported from Kashkadarya to Tashkent without proper documents and in violation of sanitary regulations were detected.

Reports indicate that the meat was placed inside the passenger cabin and trunk of a Cobalt car. Laboratory examinations confirmed that the beef was completely unfit for consumption. The product was destroyed by incineration.

In addition, official data shows that since the beginning of this year, nearly 1.5 tons of unfit meat were prevented from being sold in Jizzakh region.

Regarding this case, a protocol was drawn up against the 29-year-old driver under the relevant articles of the Administrative Responsibility Code. By court decision, he was fined 412,000 soums.

Authorities once again reminded citizens that when purchasing any meat products, they must demand the seller’s medical record and a veterinary certificate. Products sold without these documents pose a serious risk to the life and health of consumers.

As emphasized by officials, in order to prevent such cases, every citizen must remain vigilant and responsible, protecting themselves and their families.
