In Tashkent, due to major reconstruction works, temporary restrictions will be introduced for road traffic. According to the press service of the city administration, because of repair and renovation works on Shota Rustaveli Street, vehicle movement on certain sections will be temporarily suspended.
It is specified that the restriction will apply to the section from the intersection of Choponota and Shota Rustaveli streets (area of the “Brotherhood Graves” monument) to the intersection of Shota Rustaveli Street with Mirobod Street (roundabout near the “Grand Mir” hotel).
The traffic restriction will be in effect from August 24 to August 31, 2025.
“We apologize for any possible temporary inconvenience. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and use alternative roads,” the official statement says.
