In Uzbekistan, the process of using public services for the population is becoming even easier. According to the Ministry of Justice, starting from November 1, 2025, citizens will be able to provide the necessary data not in paper form, but through their mobile phones or personal accounts. State bodies and organizations will no longer have the right to demand data in paper form.
According to the new procedure, the data provided through the public services portal will have equal legal force with paper documents. This, in turn, will create an opportunity for citizens to save time and expenses. The personal data of individuals will be provided in real-time through their personal accounts.
At the same time, new conveniences will be introduced in public service centers based on principles of humanity. In particular, pensioners, pregnant women, and citizens who come with children under the age of three will have the right to be served without waiting in line. This will help them use public services more quickly and without unnecessary difficulties.
Another reform will be the introduction of innovative technologies in the process of personal identification. From 2025, during registration in the unified identification system (OneID), it will be possible to undergo biometric confirmation through Face ID. This will not only increase security but also significantly simplify the process.
In addition, public service centers will be granted the right to provide citizens and entrepreneurs with all services implemented through the Unified Portal. This will lead to public services being provided more efficiently and conveniently on the basis of the “one-stop” principle.
According to officials, these innovations are aimed at putting an end to excessive paperwork and further popularizing modern digital services. After the full implementation of the new system, the population will achieve greater convenience and transparency in the use of public services.
