SpaceX founder Elon Musk has fulfilled his previous promise - Starlink devices operating illegally in Russia are being blocked. This was announced by the Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov.
According to Fyodorov, Starlink's first package on the "white list" continues to operate, but some authorized terminals are temporarily unavailable. The Minister attributed this situation to the daily updating of the list.
Prior to this, Elon Musk announced that certain measures had been taken by Russia to identify and eliminate cases of illegal use of the Starlink service. He emphasized that these efforts have already begun to yield results.
Ukrainian officials also stated that Starlink plays an important role as a means of communication at the front and that technical control against illegal use is being further strengthened.
