The Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of Uzbekistan will be reorganized as the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms. This is part of a new system for strategic planning and development.
This system includes the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic documents. They are divided into three stages.
The Coordinating Council for Strategic Planning and Development under the President ensures the coordinated operation of state bodies and local authorities. Approved drafts of strategic documents are submitted to the president for final approval.
The Fund to support the Agency will also receive a new name and will assist the implementation of projects by providing financial and organizational support. The Council reviews projects of strategic documents and sends approved projects to the president.
